Early October sees the arrival of many top quality sheep from Messrs McArthur Arnicle Farm, Glenbarr, to graze off the fields over the winter months while our own cattle are inside.
This October has seen more grass on the fields than anyone here can ever remember.
It's a pleasure to host such well managed hoggs, the McArthurs are rightly renowned for their sheep and we hope to send them home in springtime looking fit.
